This policy explains how Lumo Studio (“we”, “us”) handles information in the mobile games and applications we publish on Google Play, and on this website. It applies to all of our apps unless a particular app shows a policy of its own.
Information we collect
We do not ask you to create an account with us, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number or contacts, unless you choose to write to us.
Some of our apps save progress, preferences and settings on your own device only. That information is not sent to us, and it is removed when you uninstall the app.
If you email us, we keep your message and address for as long as it takes to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation.
Information collected automatically by third-party services
Our apps use services from other companies to show advertisements, to keep the apps running and to understand crashes. These services may collect information automatically, including:
- a device advertising identifier
- device model, operating system version, language and region
- approximate location derived from the IP address — country or city level, not a precise location
- app events such as installs, sessions, crashes and error reports
Each of these services acts under its own privacy policy:
- Google Play services, Google AdMob and Google Analytics for Firebase — policies.google.com/privacy
- Unity — unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
Advertising
Free apps may show ads. Ads can be personalised using your advertising identifier. You can change this at any time on your device under Settings → Google → Ads, where you can reset or delete your advertising ID and turn off ad personalisation. Turning it off does not remove ads; it makes them less relevant.
Purchases
If an app offers paid items or subscriptions, the payment is processed by Google Play. We never see or store your card details. Google provides us only with a record that a purchase took place.
Permissions
An app asks for a device permission only when a feature needs it, and it tells you why at the moment it asks. Declining a permission does not stop the rest of the app from working, unless the whole app depends on it. You can withdraw any permission later under Settings → Apps → [app name] → Permissions.
Children
Our apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Where an app is listed for families, it follows Google Play’s Families policy and serves only ad content rated for that audience.
How long we keep information
Data stored on your device stays there until you clear it or uninstall the app. Email correspondence is kept for up to two years. Analytics and crash data held by the third-party services above follow their own retention periods, which are described in their policies.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling an app removes the data it saved on your device. You can also clear it under Settings → Apps → [app name] → Storage → Clear data. To ask about anything we may hold, or to have it deleted, see our data deletion page or email support@lumostudio.cloud. We respond within 30 days.
Sharing
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers listed above, or where the law requires us to.
International transfers
The service providers we use operate globally, so information collected by them may be processed outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union, under the safeguards described in their own policies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to its use. Write to us and we will act on it within 30 days, free of charge.
Security
We keep the amount of information involved in our apps to a minimum, which is the simplest protection we can offer. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our apps change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and the current version is always available at this address.
